Sabin Borugă is a pastor and evangelist with a heart for making disciples, planting churches, and training pastors. He and his wife Mirella demonstrate their commitment to the disciple-making ministry by modeling the process at home with their daughter Emily and son Joel.
Sabin was saved by God’s Grace and sensed the calling to gospel ministry at an early age. After high school, God provided the opportunity for Sabin to study in the Baptist Seminary in Bucharest. Following graduation, Sabin became the youth pastor at Betania Baptist Church in Sighișoara.
Desiring to continue his studies in cross-culture ministry, Sabin and Mirella moved to the United States to study at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas and to minister at West Side Baptist Church. After five years they felt God stirring them to return to Romania to help plant churches and making disciples in Sighisoara and the surrounding villages.
Sabin continued his theological training and earned a master degree and a PhD from the University of Bucharest.
Currently, Sabin serves as the Vice President of Education in the Sibiu Baptist Association where he equips leaders for church planting and disciple making. Additionally, he is passionate about training the next generation of leaders for ministry within local churches.
